Last week, the Aquatic Capital of America committee held its second Hall of Fame ceremony. The ACOA has run an annual awards banquet since its inception seven years ago, and added a Hall of Fame last year as a way to create permanent, separate recognition for the great water athletes from throughout the city’s history.
