F.A.S.T.E.R.
Are you ready to be F.A.S.T.E.R. on the indoor rowing machine, when rowing on the water and on the Concept 2 Ski Erg?
adj. fast·er, fast·est
1. Acting, moving, or capable of acting or moving quickly; swift.
F.A.S.T.E.R. is a virtual coaching program that offers athletes access to top level training and feedback — regardless of where location. For the first time ever, you can learn from an expert without taking time away from your training to travel — and for a fraction of the cost of an airline ticket.
F.A.S.T.E.R is a unique form of coaching that includes video analysis. This is an opportunity to have your rowing stroke analyzed by a real Olympic Rowing Coach, John Nunn (1976 U.S. Olympic Men’s Rowing/Sculling Coach).
What’s better than being coached by an Olympic Rowing Coach and Olympic Bronze Medalist?
How about two coaches? F.A.S.T.E.R. brings together the father/son rowing Roworx John and Jack Nunn. Together, they have a combined total of more than 70 yrs of rowing experience!
Jack Nunn is a three-time National Champion, four-time Pac-10 Collegiate Champion, and 2001 U.S. Rowing Worlds Silver Medalist. Jack Nunn is ranked among the top 3 athletes in the world for Ski Erg rankings. (2001 and 2012)
John Nunn is the 1967 Pan Am Games Silver Medalist, ’68 Olympic Bronze Medalist, ’71 Pan Am Games Silver Medalist, ’76 Olympic Men’s Rowing Coach, Cornell University Hall of Fame, and ’96 Olympic Torch Runner.
These two rowing athletes will analyze your rowing technique and offer comprehensive feedback to help you improve your technique and take your competition to the next level.

How the F.A.S.T.E.R. Program Works
After placing your order, we need a few things to get started. Follow the instructions below to video your stroke. Once we have completed your single stroke analysis, we will provide personalized feedback and coaching to help improve your technique.
Getting F.A.S.T.E.R is simple, but first we need to see you row. Please follow these steps to record and send us a video of you rowing.
1. Digital camera footage of your exercise should be taken with good light and focus from an angle or a side on the indoor rowing machine (preferably Concept 2 erg), water, ski erg and/or everything.
2. Complete a row the ‘pic drill’, which is a sequence of strokes ranging from rowing with the arms only, upper body and arms, 1/4 slide, 1/2 slide, 3/4 slide, full slide. Do this drill at 20 strokes at a time and then move up the slide every 20 strokes until you get to full slide.
3. Row and/or ski between 18 and 22 strokes per minute for about 30 strokes.
4. Row and/or ski as fast and hard as you can at race pace (32 stroke per minute) for about 30 strokes.
John And Jack Nunn will spend at least an hour each going over your rowing stroke and you will receive a comprehensive email with at least 10 items of technical analysis covering your overall rowing stroke that will improve your stroke and power. Your package will also include a four-week training program, personalized to your specific needs, that will help you get F.A.S.T.E.R. in less time!
Get F.A.S.T.E.R. times on your 500M, 1000M, 2K, 6K, and even 10K pieces with a personalized rowing workout from two winning coaches.

The video below is from the 2008 Beach Sprints Indoor 2,000 Meter Race. I raced to a First Place finish in 6 minutes 4 seconds — out of shape! My personal best for this event was 5:56 while on the National Team. If you’re ready to reach your personal best, let us show you the way with proper technique, training and drills.
