Rudy Project Sponsors Athlete Jack Nunn
From runners, cyclists, rowers, and your average weekend warriors all use some sort of eyewear or helmet for safety and shielding from the intense sun that go along with any outdoor activity. Just about every athlete I know uses some sort of sunglasses/eyewear and or helmets during bike rides for cyclists/triathletes.
I’m here to tell you that Rudy Project eyewear and cycling gear is on the rise and better than anything else out on the market. For the past 5 years they have been the leader in use from their aerodynamic helmets that are used at the coveted Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. But don’t just take my word for it… take a look at what I have accomplished over the years in completing over 100 triathlons all with the support and gear with the Rudy Project brand. What I like most about the Rudy Project sunglasses, helmets, and apparel is the high quality and customer service behind every piece of equipment they make. The sunglasses are so comfortable and effective you barely feel as if you are wearing sunglasses at all. The helmets are my favorite as you enjoy the feeling of being the fastest most aero helmet on the market all while being most comfortable during those long 5 hour 112 mile Ironman bike rides. In 2008, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2016 I have competed in 9 Full Ironman competitions in Nice, France, Florianopolis, Brazil, Cozumel, Mexico, Cairns, Australia, Mallorca, Spain, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Vineman, California, Kalmar, Sweden, And Vichy, France. I also won the 2015 USA National Championships In Triathlon for the overall fastest Clydesdale 220+ division in the Olympic Distance in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have also raced in over 100 triathlon and decathlon events over the last few years. In 2017 I plan on competing in 4 more full ironman competitions including the infamous Norseman in Norway (), Madison, Wisconsin Ironman, Panama City Beach, Florida Ironman, and the Tempe, Arizona Ironman. I am on a mission to complete 12 Full Ironman’s in order to try and gain entry through the Ironman Legacy Foundation into the 40th Anniversary of the Kona, Hawaii World Ironman Championships in 2018.
Moving forward with my training throughout 2017 and beyond it is an honor and privilege to be sponsored by Rudy Project. On top of being a competitive triathlete I am the owner of Roworx Fitness in Long Beach where we feature 20 low impact total body indoor rowing workout classes every week with stunning views of the sunset overlooking Marine Stadium. Rowing is a total-body sport which builds both cardiovascular endurance and strength through repetitive resistance training. Few other sports can provide the total body benefit that rowing does.
